    Founder, owner and main instructor of Supple Spine Institute

    Dr. Anneke Schellingerhout is a veterinarian and owner/main instructor of Supple Spine Institute.

    She graduated as a veterinarian from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University in 1997, after which she obtained her doctorate in the field of nutrition in 2002. In 2004, she successfully completed chiropractic training at the European Academy for Veterinary Chiropractic (EAVC) and at the same time obtained certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). Anneke was an instructor at the Backbone-Academy for many years. She is also qualified as a veterinary osteopath, homeopathic veterinarian, certified acupuncturist, Chinese Food Therapist and herbalist. In her successful holistic practice Jyoti in Heemskerk (the Netherlands), she makes use of methods such as osteopathy, chiropractic, acupuncture, homeopathy, orthomolecular nutrition and Chinese herbs to treat companion animals and their owners.

    Co-founder of Supple Spine Institute

    Leida Visée is co-founder of Supple Spine Institute. She graduated as a veterinarian from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University in 1987. In 2004, she successfully completed chiropractic training at the European Academy for Veterinary Chiropractic (EAVC), obtaining certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). Leida was an instructor at the Backbone-Academy and the Supple Spine Institute for many years. At the latter, she is still connected as an instructor and examiner. Leida is also qualified as a homeopathic veterinarian, certified acupuncturist, Chinese Food Therapist, herbalist and TuiNa therapist. In her successful complementary practice Chiron in Zeist, Leida applies chiropractic, acupuncture, homeopathy, special nutrition and Chinese herbs to treat companion animals.

  • Drs. Brenda Ooms

    Veterinarian

    Brenda Ooms graduated as a veterinarian from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University in 1997. After her graduation, she worked for many years in veterinary practices in The Hague and surroundings. In 2007, she started her Orthomolecular Medicine studies. This was followed by training in acupuncture and chiropractic at the Healthcare Academy. After attending refresher and continuing education courses at Supple Spine Institute, she also became an instructor there. In her complementary veterinary practice in The Hague, Brenda successfully treats companion animals using acupuncture, chiropractic, supplements and nutritional advice.
